      Hello.

      I have a simple question which I just can't figure out.

      We have a web server in our network with a local static IP address.  I opened up a port on our pfsense gateway and with a URL people can connect to it, lib.spbcu.ru.

      Inside our network, like locally people can connect to it through the local up address but I would love it as people can type lib.spbcu.ru in our network and also be directed to it.

      I presume it got something to do with dns, but I don't have a clue how and I have already been googling for a while.

      Any help will truly be appreciated!

        @jseyfferdt:

        I have already been googling for a while.

        I don't believe that. https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Why_can%27t_I_access_forwarded_ports_on_my_WAN_IP_from_my_LAN/OPTx_networks

          Thanks. I truly appreciate it. Maybe I was googling the wrong thing. But thank you so much
