      Hi all.

Would it be possible to make some kind of failover with pfSense and a physical firewall?

I'm using pfSense in a virtual appliance, but if my server goes down i will loose connectivity and if I’m not home I cant “dial in” to my network to perhaps fix the error.
So I was wondering if I somehow could use my pfSense as a primary firewall, then switch over to my Zyxel USG firewall incase the pfSense would go down. As far as I know Zyxel USG does not support Carp.

      Any suggestions
      Thanks in advance.
      /Om
