      Hi to all,

      I recently purchase a Chelsio T520-SO-CR, i need some explanation about the bios menu to set it properly.
      Does someone can help me to understand the different information below please ?

      Adapter BIOS : Enabled
      Initialisation Platform : Both
      Boot Mode : Compatibility
      EDD : 2.1
      EBDA Relocation : Permitted

        I have never seen any cause to change the default value there. What are you trying to do?

            I think the only feature you might disable on that card is PXE. Is it causing an issue?

              I disabled it.

              Do you know what is EDD and  EBDA Relocation ?

                Appears to be Extended BIOS Data Area. So allowing that to be relocated presumably gives more flexibility but perhaps breaks anything hard-coded with the original localtion.

                Enhanced Disk Device seems to be for using the card with FCoE to provide a boot device to the main BIOS.

                No real reason to change either of those I would think.
