I've just installed pfSense on a PC with Intel Core 2 Quad CPU and tried to configure it.
It behaves strangely - any change done and applied via the web interface results in the router being unresponsive. I can't connect to it via http, ssh, it even doesn't respond to ping.
Anyway, I still can ping local machines and make ssh connections FROM the pfSense console.
It seems that a kind of firewall becomes active and blocks any request from outside.
The only way to bring the router back to operation is reboot.
      Any advice?
