What cool things can you do with PFsense?

I am arranging a data-party for 5-10 people every holyday and I have now gotten my claws into Pfsense. What cool things can I do with Pfsense that can be an advandidge at a lan?

We are not here to teach networking classes.
My suggestion is for you to visit http://www.webopedia.com/ or http://www.answers.com and lookup anything you don't understand or visit network related sites.

We have no idea what features you want and our feature list is rather long. If you can't understand what's written in plain english at http://pfsense.com/index.php?id=26 then I'm not sure how much more detail anyone else can go into.
Here's the simplest possible thing I can tell you (and if it sounds familiar, it should, it's on the front page of the pfsense website)
