    Have you found a solution? I have had the same problem mentioned above since I installed PFSense in december.

    EDIT: I upgraded to the latest version of PFSense and the problem is still there.

        I am brand new to pfsense and am having the same issue installing extra packages.  Is there a way to get them and install them manually via cli?
        thanks,
        Jim

            Well, I'm having the same behavior here.  I'm running on 1.0-BETA1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-2-8-06 version, and I never had this problem before.

            Do you have any advices? should I make a fresh install??

            Thanks in advance people!!

              Working fine here:

              Executing custom_php_resync_config_command()…done.
              Writing configuration... done.
              Starting service.

              Installation completed.

              Try reinstalling from scratch.

                Works for me.  You have to download the snapshot version from the sullrich directory, not the 1.0.
