DHCP Override for Load Balancing??

I know I have read that by default PFSense will not load balance if one of the connections is DHCP. What I am wondering is if there is anyway to manually assign a static gateway on PFsense that would allow load balancing to work? Similiar to the way you can override the dns servers used by ignoring those given from a dhcp server. I ask because my IP practically never changes, and even if it does my gateway always remains the same so it would be nice if pfsense could keep renewing the IP so that no other customer is assigned it while still able to have the static gateway so I can load balance.
If this is not possible any word on when this feature may be possible? Either overriding or using a DHCP gateway for load balancing? I am wanting to load balance 2 cable modems, one has a pool of static IP's the other is just a dhcp.
Overall even without the load balancing I was hoping for I have to say I am really enjoying PFSense. I started with RedHat IPtables scripts, to smoothwall, then IPCop which I had been using the last year or2. Its nice to find an even more feature rich & free firewall to use.

I'm not sure if that might work but if your dhcp assigned wan doesn't change your gateway at this wan won't change either. I don't think there is something preventing you from entering your dhcp wan gateway to the pool and add the same gateway IP as monitor IP. Just try it. If your DHCP WAN changes it will be excluded from the pool and you will be left alone with the other WAN until you correct the gateway in the pool. Might work.

Ok I'll give it a try. I did attempt to do it last night but I could have easily just been configuring the load balancing wrong (The steps I saw outlined had me scratching my head sometimes). So I will give it another try and see what I come up with.

Thanks for letting me know what truely was the limitation on DHCP. I assumed it not working was deeper than the problem of always having your gateway address change. Everything appears to be working great now. and time to start digging/tweaking some of the other features.
