Bogus-nxdomain
-
I know dnsmasq has a "bogus-nxdomain" setting to block use of landing pages for nonexistent domains that are in use by Earthlink, TWC and others. I can't seem to find a place to set that. Did I miss it? If not, is there a workaround for me to set it at the console? Note that I'm using the embedded version.
TIA.

what about using OpenDNS?

I would still want to set bogus-nxdomain since OpenDNS also provides a landing page for failed queries. If I can't figure out how to set up the bogus-nxdomain I may just go with OpenDNS as is, but I'm interested in figuring this out.

So should I file this as a wishlist bug? Is there some other place I should look/ask to try to get this set?

You could start a bounty. If you want to do it yourself, it looks like you'd have to add -B=ip address option added to the args passes from services.inc.
