I saw a picture (lost it) of a 1U case that had a backplane motherboard that allowed front loaded PCI cards in the front. So you could add like 3 QFE cards and have all in the ports in front of the case.

It was a picture some of you may have seen. It was a guy on m0n0wall mailing list selling them for $200. It was like a p3, 256Mb Ram, with a 2 port intel card and had room in the front of case for 2 more pci cards.

Anyone know where to get a case/motherboard/ like that.

Search the m0n0 list, the guy who sold them answered that question somewhere. He said that they were custom build and there is nowhere to buy these. At least the ones he sells but maybe something similiar exists.
