Try the hidden xml options: http://faq.pfsense.com/index.php?action=artikel&cat=10&id=38&artlang=en&highlight=hidden%20configxml

Read the faq. You can add some lines to your config.xml to run commands at bootup like starting the lcdprocd:

            system/earlyshellcmd and system/shellcmd

may contain a shell command that is executed before the boot scripts actually start setting up the system (for earlyshellcmd), or after the boot scripts have finished setting up the system (for shellcmd). You can have multiple (early)shellcmd tags. Don't forget to replace special characters with their XML equivalents (most notably < and > (< and >).

Now Lcdproc started but the boot of pfsense stops if lcdproc start, when i kill Lcdproc over Console then the booting run again.

I have testet command LCDd and LCDd & with the same problem.

If i startet LCDd and lcdproc over console it work.

Sounds the process is not deamonized. Maybe it needs a flag in the conf or whatever to become a deamon after start?
Btw, why not trying to compile this into a package? This would also solve the startup issue and we would be happy to include a package like this in the pfsense package repository.

You need to add a & to the command.

Be sure to convert it to the proper XML format.
