If you have problems with dhclient exiting in your logs then please drop me a email to sullrich@gmail.com

I am gathering data and will need individual contact information.

      Thanks in advance!

does this include whenever dhclient goes to 100% cpu usage?  Usually when I get 100% cpu usage, dhclient and syslogd are the culprits.  I also lose internet connectivity in the process.  A reboot fixes stuff for awhile, but it seems like I have to reboot every week or so.

I have that problem when I toss in a wireless card…..I think it's when I add carp that my k6-2 gets over-worked and does this....takes about 4-5 days for me.

Note: been running w/out wireless card for about 2 months and no further stability problems.

Check the system logs.  Your ISP is most likely feeding you bogus DHCP values, etc.

Ask them to stop?  I have no idea what you can do.  All I know is that it only seems to hapen with ISP's that send bogus dhcp options.
