I just recently installed Squidguard to compliment squid. Everything works very nicely. I have however come to realize that a ruleset is playing with my Tivo. Apparently one of the three rulesets I’m using is preventing tivo from connecting to the mothership. How can I create an allow all exception for the IP address of my TiVo?

      Thanks in advance,
      Peter

You can put its IP in the squid config entry "Do NOT proxy these IPs".

If that doesn't work, you can try to make an ACL for your TiVo IP, put it at the very top of the list, and make sure it has allow/white access to everything, especially the default.

Im not sure if I need a new thread or not for this, but how can I block all downloads through squid but pdf files?
