I have ran the install twice. Both times running a clean, default installation to a harddrive. There were no errors during either of the installs. The server (A Hewlett-Packard Proliant DL320 G3 running 1gb memory) reboots and loads pfSense without any issues whatsoever. At this point, I have two machines; the pfSense box, and a workstation. The pfS box is IP'd as 10.1.1.1 on the LAN interface. The workstation is IP'd as 10.1.1.50. They can ping each other.

When I attempt to connect to http://10.1.1.1 from the workstation. I get a "Failed to connect" error in Firefox. If i make an attempt to reset the WebConfigurator or the IP of the pfS box and reload the workstations browser, it will occasionally bring up the login prompt. Sometimes logging in will take me to the initial WebGUI page, sometimes it will go to the "Failed to connect" message.

The only line in lighttpd.error.log is: 2009-03-25 09:43:46: (log.c.97) server started

For all intents and purposes, the pfSense and Workstation boxes both appear to be running without issue. Have I missed something?
