I just upgraded to 1.0.1, and immediately after doing that, the packet loss for the WAN interface is constantly showing 100%. I know this cannot be true since I am able to get out to the internet, my bandwidth reports normal speeds, etc. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Nothing at all has changed from 1.0 to 1.0.1 in regards to RRD unfortunately.

I would say this is a fluke of some sort and the problem was present prior?

At any rate, it tries to ping the gateway that has been entered in interfaces -> wan or the gateway that has been handed out via DHCP.

Try pinging the gateway from the webConfigurator under Diagnostics -> Ping and see if the timeouts occur there.

I just realized that snort is now blocking pings to this address. I have this IP in my whitelist, but it is still being blocked. I think this relates to this thread now

Strange that snort2c is ignoring the item then.

Another odditity, snort appears to be only ignoring the ip's I entered into the whitelist before I upgraded to 1.0.1.

Apparently, after adding IPs into the whitelist, you need to reboot. I added my gateway into the whitelist, rebooted, and all is working. Question is, should I have to reboot when I change the whitelist?

Most likely a bug.  I'll check it out.
