    Hi All !

Squid is a nice working package…
But there are just a few features missing I think...

I'm not that php-freak that i could write packages from scratch :-( so I just have a few additions...

If you like to have more features in your squid i have new files for you as a replacement for the old ones, working until the next squid release or perhaps scott puts them into the release... who knows...

**This are replacement files for package version 2.5.14_2-p7
They are tested with pfSense 1.0.1

Put them to /usr/local/pkg (and overwrite the old files)**

    Here you go:

    http://pfsense.trendchiller.com/squid/squid.xml
    http://pfsense.trendchiller.com/squid/squid_cache.xml

    have fun !

Can you provide some information what you added and maybe diffs against the most recet version of the files so we can consider commiting them? Thanks  :)

        Hi, hoba !

I'd love to make diff's but i have to check first how to do this :)

But of course as soon as i know how, I will :)

        So what was added:

Hide originating client address and URI whitespace handling

            well, yes  ;D
            already got your mail  ;D

I'm using WinMerge for diffs…  There are 3 options: normal, context, unified...

What are we using ? context ?

            btw: diffs sent to scott...
