Package that block ports
-
Anyone know any package that can block ports easy ? I`m looking for something that can do this without editing the firewall rules.
-
Excuse me, but that doesn't make sense at all unless I don't understand what you are asking for. Maybe you can explain things a bit more or tell us what is wrong with doing blocks with the firewallrules?

Ok
Let me be more specified!
First of all Im not anti firewall but I
m anti editing too much rules. This is what im trying to say.I asked because someone could know or used some kind of script that allows u to manage easily without editing many rules in firewall. In linux u can manage only putting a comment (#) in front of and that
s it.
And to be honest i`ve tried a lot of firewall rules and some worked and other no.This is the reason!! -

Are you talking about manually editing an iptables configuration file? Or are you refering to some kinda GUI app for X on linux? You still need to be a bit more specific about what you are trying to accomplish!

And to be honest i`ve tried a lot of firewall rules and some worked and other no. This is the reason!!What you probably mean is to enable and disable rules on the fly.
You can do this by clicking the green symbol on the left hand side of the rule. After applying this will disable (light green) and re-enable (solid green) the specific rule. It is an on/off toggle and is similar to commenting out a line with a '#'.Green is for 'pass' rules whereas red is for 'blocking' and yellow for 'reject', IIRC.
Not sure if you can toggle logging this way. -
the truth is that i
m not speaking english very well…...... I
m talking here about some kind of GUI that can see what ports are used and can block every one easly -
You can see pen connections at diagnostics>states if that helps.
