Well since I can't install Pfsense on the athlon xp rig, I'm trying to get it to work on my athlon x2 rig.  I can boot into the console, but when I enter 99 to install to disk it tells me there is no suitable disk.  I've tried using 2 different hard drives with the same results.

What version of pfSense are you using? If you haven't tried it already I suggest you try 1.2.3.

yes, i had same problem, and i have 2 disks in RAID.
Playing with bios fixed my problem.

When trying to instal pfs sees two disks and one raid one disk, install only to raid disk no probs…
