MPPC kernel module

Hi,
Please forgive me, as I am a little new to FreeBSD.
I was hopeing to get the MPPC compression module for ppp.

I would like it for pfsense 2.0.
I am making an assumption the FreeBSD works like linux and as long as the module is compiled on the same kernel, it will work?

(BTW, I am building my own pfsense dev tree, but it's going to take me a while to wrap my head around it)
