I have 3 realtek nicsCable and router 192.168.2.1 tested and works fine, tested on other machine with windows 2003 server

The debug message points to a physical layer problem. Maybe you have some autonegotiation problem or need to use a crossovercable?

Try to connect a client directly to it with a crossover and try the new nic with a non crossed cable. Do you still see the link downs in the systemlogs?

OPT1 not work, tested with last snapshot 1.0.1-SNAPSHOT-02-27-2007 built on Tue Mar 6 16:54:14 EST 2007, error in log is the same
