      You need to update to Release 1.0.1. Also, I am not aware of any squid guard package available for pfsense, as of right now.

        Now i'm using pfsense RC2 n embedded… it's great... ,can i know how to install squidGuard package into mypfsense...plz help me..TQ
        it's will be great....if i can using squid + squidGuard in same machine ....  ;D

        pfsense : 1.0.1 / RC2
        embedded on ix86 HP DL145

          there is no 1.0.1 rc2
          there was verry long a go a 1.0 rc2
          but that one came unsuported when 1.0 rc3 cane out
          just like 1.0 release is now unsuported

            You are running 1.0-RC2.  This is OLD. Upgrade.

              Did you say you're running the embedded version?  No squid for you, no squidGuard either.

                    There is no RC2 1.0.1 version. You're either running version 1.0 RC 2, or version 1.0.1. It's not both. Like the above post there is no squidguard, and on embedded versions you cannot use packages.

                            There is a version available that is being tested ATM.  I have used it and feel that it works pretty well.  See this post:

                            Its a little complex, but it should work unless the creator has pulled his files off the web!
