      Hi,

It seems that the Status / DHCP leases log page does not update the hostname column as frequently as I wish ;-)

How can I kick pfsense to re-read all the connected IP addresses' hostnames?

Thanks for a tip on this

      regards

      Tor

        Hi,

Sorry if I expressed myself unclearly…..

Is the DHCP leases log supposed to reflect an immediate change to a client's change of hostname?  I.e. when a workstation's hostname is changed, when is the dhcp lease log supposed to display the new hostname?  Immediately or after the the dhcp lease has expired?

Thanks a bunch if someone can comment on this

The hostname is read from the dhcpd.leases file. When the host renews the dhcp lease the hostname change should appear.
