      Hi.
I need to customize the pfSense's web interface, customizing the colors and the language.
I know how to translate pfSense, but what about customizing the web interface?

      Thank you very much!
      Goodbye,
      Decibel.

        Have a look at http://pfsense.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/pfSense/usr/local/www/themes/

You'll find all available themes there (each folder is a theme). Each additional folder that is available under that path will be listed as theme. The various *.css-files define the look of the webgui, the wizards, the loginscreen, …(only the all.css is used in pfSense 1.x, other css's are prepared for the next version), the imagefolders have the graphics that are in use.

To upload/download files from your pfSense enable ssh at system>advanced and use a tool like http://www.winscp.com/ . Logon as user root and <webguipassword>.</webguipassword>

          Question about WinSCP:

When i try to login i get this error:

Received too large (172040292 B) SFTP packet. Max supported packet size is 102400 B.

The error is typically caused by message printed from startup script (like .profile). The message may start with "0x0A412064".

It might be the console menu, so i disabled it. But it takes no effect. Someone an idea how to do that?

          Greetings dexcs
