          Haven't purchased it yet. According to it's specs, it should work nicely. I'm going to build one for our next bandwidth upgrade on our OC-12 metro ethernet connection.

              I have one of these now.

              At this point I do NOT recommend them.  Only 4 ports work on FreeBSD and CARP is quite flaky with it.

              I am waiting for 7.0 to be released sometime after July before fully utilizing this.

                Just to add something to scott's comment: This affects this special nexcom model (and maybe others that use the same nics). There are other nexcoms that have intel nics for example that will run just fine with the current release of pfSense.  ;)
