I have a DSL modem (GT701-WG) in bridged mode. I can successfully authenticate with PPPoE with a WRT54G hooked up to it, but when I use the same settings with pfSense, it will not connect and get an IP. So I know that the DSL modem is configured properly, and I know that the PPPoE credentials I am using are good. The provider is Qwest, and the DSL modem is a GT701-WG in bridged mode. Are there any known problems with this type of setup, and is there anything else I can try?

What does the systemlog say when you try to connect?
