      Hi,
I am having a bit of trouble getting pfsense to run once installed. I am using 1.2 beta 1 and it installs OK but gets into an endless loop once booting from HDD. I suspect that my bios and/or pfsense is detecting the wrong parameters etc. I have the latest bios in my motherboard. The HDD is http://www.provantage.com/seagate-st96812a~7SEGH010.htm and motherboard http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/mainboards/mini_itx/epia_en/
My bios detects the correct size but different cylinder and heads. I have tried LBA also. If I select CHS and enter manualy, the size does not correspond. The same happens when I manualy select settings when formatting under pfsense If I manualy select parameters the size of the disk it says is only 7.8Gb or so. Should be 60Gb.
Any suggestions would be great! ;D
