Intel DG965RYCK Motherboard won't boot

Just got the Intel DG965RYCK motherboard but the darn thing won't boot.
I've tried it with CD's of 1.2 Beta, 1.1 release as well a hard drive with 1.2 on it that was imaged with a different MB.
This is the second MB I've ordered for this my boss isn't happy if I need a third, I thought a nice Intel board would just work :(

The last messages displayed are below, I've had to retype it so there could be a typo.
Any help is appreciated.

Try turning off the Raid support in the bios.

I've updated the BIOS to the most recent version

There is no raid onboard
The Parallel, serial, audio and 1394 are disable in BIOS
There is no option to disable the SATA in the BIOS

I've tried disabling hyperthreading and setting the Hard drive to both "legacy" and "native" modes.

I've tried booting it just with the CD and no Hard Drive attached,

Is there a way to stop pfsense from trying to load the pseudoRaid driver?

Per Intel's docs http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/asmo-na/eng/products/linux/support/319373.htm , this board seems to have pretty poor support for non-windows OSs. If it only works with ~20% of Linux distros they tested, that bodes ill for BSD support.
Although, this post suggests someone has OpenBSD running on the board and it works as long as he runs a SMP kernel. http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/openbsd/2006-12/1808.html But it looks like he is running an amd64 build. Have you tried a stock FreeBSD 6.2 install?

try to boot from a floppy using Smart Boot Manager: http://sourceforge.net/projects/btmgr/

If you get to the BTMGR menu select to boot from the pfSense CDROM.
