Time based traffic shaping

Hi all,
I'm trying to set up a time-based traffic shaping in order
to provide different bandwidth during the morning and the night
to p2p traffic.
I’m thinking to write a script able to load two different filter definitions in function of the time and to load it with the crontab.

Some one has already solve this problem?
