    Can hardware be upgrade once pfsense is installed?

      Hi just curious if i can add a wireless card to my pfsense box once i have already have the os installed and operating?

        if you plug it in when you box is running then you have a big change that you kill you wireless card

          You need to shut down the box. Plug the NIC and after it boot's goto > Interfaces -> Assign
          so you setup it…

            okay so if i shut down the box and install the card and restart it then i can use the new wireless nic?  sounds easy enough

                well thats cool im going to use http://www.demarctech.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=171 so i shouldnt have any issue.
