      I'm sure the error is due to the install under VMware, but I've never tried a virtual install, so I'm not much help. I'd just put it on a separate physical box, but there is a virtualization forum that might be a better place to ask about running under VMware.

            How are your interfaces configured and connected? I'm having a hard time figuring out how the firewall could cause machines to register duplicate netbios names.

              interfaces :
              wan : 192.168.30.13 –-> gateway 192.168.30.1
              lan : 192.168.1.1
              opt1 : 192.168.0.227  --> gateway 192.168.0.1

                    Your routing table makes my head hurt… All interfaces are on private networks? Generally, your WANs are directly on the publics... What do you have the subnet masks set for? The table usually shows something like:
                    192.168.1/24 link0 whereas yours just shows 192.168.1 link0
                    Are any of your interfaces plugged into the same switch?

                      subnet mask is /24

                      yes all the interface is plugged in the same switch, it's error  :-[ ?

                        Yeah, plugging multiple interfaces into the same switch is generally considered a bad idea. If you have a vlan-capable switch and use vlans, it might be workable. You just have the various 192.168.x networks running over the same switches and you pfsense is just directing between them? I don't really understand the layout. The traditional layout usually has the LAN connected to the client switches and the WAN ports connected directly to the WAN router.
