I did do a search but the results were two years old and we all know how fast things can evolve in technology.

Subject says it all - I'm looking for an ADSL router with no-NAT capability and multiple IPs on the WAN.

Does anybody have any recent experience with a suitable product in the UK?

I use a netgear DG834 with PFsense and a block of 16 IP addresses, very easy to setup and seems to work OK with ADSL2+ (BTs 21CN)

Thanks, I've got an old one in the cupboard so I'll give it a whirl tonight!

If I get it working, I'll try to contribute a HOWTO specific to that model/range as they're SO common in the UK - Sky Broadband supply them (albeit a bit locked down).

I've never done work in the UK, but I have heard very good things about the Draytek Vigor modems, particularly the Vigor 120 from users there.

well i'm in the US, but i have adsl with 5 ip's working with pfsense. im using a hybrid transparent firewall along with NAT AND no/NAT
i needed to expose an ip-pbx without allowing everythig through, so i'm using a filtering bridge, works great!

              it looks like this:

              <dsl modem="">–------<pfsense 66.x.x.1-3="">-------- <ip-pbx 66.x.x.4,5="">\                        (no nat, routed)
                                                            \                              |</ip-pbx></pfsense></dsl>

i'm trying to do the same thing with a DG834G (exactly the same but with WLAN). Bern, i'd very much appreciate advice on setting that up too. i haven't been able to find an answer yet. good luck! as we both have the same router if i find a solution i will let you know.

Ok on the netgear I have the following settings (all else at default)

Basic settings - PPPoA username & password
Advanced - LAN IP setup - I set the IP address details in there as WAN IP in my case 78.33.154.x (I won't publish my full IP) subnet 255.255.255.240, I also unticked the box use router as DHCP server

On Pfsense I put the ip in under WAN as 78.33.154.x/28

                    Hope this helps
                    Martin
