2 internal LAN and 1 WAN Interface not correctly working together
-
Hello,
i started with pfsense 3 weeks ago, changing from IPCOP. Everything is working nice except one thing:
I have one LAN interface for internal clients, another interface for some other clients, with different ip range and WAN connected to Internet. LAN is working fine, connection to the internet and DHCP and anything else is working fine. But on the other interface i cant get any connection to the internet. DHCP is working here too.I set up this optional Interface as static type, bridged none and ip address 192.168.2.1/24. Im using pfsence 1.2-RC1.
Anybody has a hint for me how to get internet acces at opt interface to WAN?
best regards

You need to create an advanced outbound NAT rule that NATs your additional network on OPT to WAN.
NAT–> Andvanced Outbound NAT.
Enable and create a rule for every subnet you want NATed. -
Just to be sure. Did you add a rule on lan2 like the default rule on lan

There is no smiley hitting his head with his hand ;-)
That was the point, that solved the problem, thank you!
