    Hi everyone,

I've been running pfSense on my box from the livecd for some times now (at first using the last stable version and now RC2), without any issues. But I tried to install it on my harddrive several times (I kept using the default values of the nCurses installator), using several different versions & CDs and each time the system won't boot : it keeps telling that it can't find the kernel and that i should enter "HELP" to get a list of available commands.

I only have one hardrive, the box is working 100% with the CD, the harddrive is fine and I do see the boot manager before the error.

Does anyone here knows what's going on, what is the problem and how could i resolve it?

    Thx by advance.

Also try checking "Use grub" during the boot block installation step.
