I am using a Pentium D 3.00 GHz dual core processor, in a Dell SC440 Server.  With the last update I went from see both processors in use to one in use.  Also I still can't get the on-board adapter to work with Pf-Sense.  So I am using a a realtec ethernet 10/100/1000 adapter.  It works great.

If I wanted to use PF-Sense as a access point and then tie a wireless router into the server over the wireless link.

This product is awesome.  I have really learned alot and it has been a great learning experience.  I recently deployed one at a clients site.  It worked great.  We found that it worked really well.  It took some tweaking but it ran like a top.

What would be the best type of device for a loaner? I would really like to be able to come up with a full solution from the router/firewall to client and client software.  I am trying increase my business and provide small to medium size firms a affordable vpn solution.

By "last update", what do you mean?  From what version to what version?
