The snort package Now gets Snort Rules from 3 different sources. Th latest source comes from pfsense.org (us).

The pfsense three rules sources are snort.org, emergingthreats.net and pfsense.org.

The reason we have pfsense.org rules is so our comunity can have custom rules that support our packages.
For example right now we only have one rule type pfsense-voip.rules and that supports our freeswitch package.

All most forgot the rules get auto installed when you click the update rules tab.

Before there was a problem if we upgraded to a new Snapshot, do we now need to upgrade to a new snapshot for this to work right or is it just how its working already?

Dont upgrade past june 13 and its working already.
