These are very new boards just coming out in production - I placed an order for two of them directly from PC-Engines last Monday, even though the site said "out of stock" and they shipped out last Wednesday to me (now have to wait for snail mail and customs :( ).

Best bet is to go ahead and place the order - if Pascal has them he will ship it out to you - otherwise he will ship as soon as he has them.

And important, Pascal won't ask you money if goods are really out of stock  :)

You have to wait for the proforma invoice before proceeding payment.

There should be no problems shipping to Canada - I am in Florida, USA and have no issues getting the boards over.

I split this out as it's not related to the boot failure thread. Please don't hijack threads.

I got my ALIX from a "special" non-public ordering page a couple months ago. They're more widely available now, but I'm not really sure how people are getting them. Further input from those of you who have gotten them more recently would be appreciated!

I've placed a small order on the main pcengines store some weeks ago, and last week they've been shipped. Tho someone I know placed an order long before me and got his shipment some days later than me. The demand is probably pretty high.

Oh cool, yeah Netgate has them now. They're my preferred source for PC Engines and wireless hardware.

                          Board - http://www.netgate.com/product_info.php?products_id=450
                          Silver case - http://www.netgate.com/product_info.php?cPath=67&products_id=268
                          Red case - http://www.netgate.com/product_info.php?cPath=67&products_id=292
                          Black case - http://www.netgate.com/product_info.php?cPath=67&products_id=211
                          CF card - http://www.netgate.com/product_info.php?products_id=272
                          Power supply - http://www.netgate.com/product_info.php?products_id=357

$185 for the complete setup, that's about $40 cheaper than a complete WRAP setup!

Can you provide link to wifi card, antena and pigtail. Also can you confirm your setup is working correctly with pfsense.

The link on the wifi card says "Compatible with pfsense versions 1.01 only". Will it work with the latest release of pfsense?

Everything that works on 1.0x will work on 1.2x.

I have some CF cards laying around, what is the minimum size recommended size?

Hi covex, are you using the 0.92 bios or the newer 0.98 bios.

I'm wondering as there are people in another post that reports dhcp problems with the newer bios and I would like to know if that continues to be the case.

                                            thanks
