Help with DUAL WAN setup
-
Hello!
I've installed pfSense on my old P2 machine and it looks/works great for now, at least greater than my netgear wireless router.
The problem is that I don't have much experience in NAT/Firewall operation and I really don't have an idea how to configure the system to operate under my specific needs. How specific are my needs? Here they are:
1. I have two ISPs here - with different real IP addresses that I want to combine to achieve DUAL WAN functionality.
2. I have a FTP server on my internal network (behind the pfSense router) with ip 192.168.1.2, which I want to be port-forwarded to one (or two if possible) of the two ISP's connections i mentioned above.
3. I have some other machines (behind the pfSense router) with ip's begining with 192.168.1.x and I want to shape their traffic and to be able to stop torrent downloads or other traffic-abusive software…I really don't know if I'm asking the right questions, but if you've got the idea, you can help with some hints or links to tutorials/articles that I can read to educate myself a bit and do it on my own...
Anyway...
Thank you in advance!Have a nice day!
