Any info on this NIC?

I found a HP A5506A Quad port 10/100 nic on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280069003245Does anyone know if this will work, or how well? I can't find much information about it, and the seller says it will only work with HP 9000 Unix systems.
If those don't work, how about these(Compaq DE504-BA Quad Port Nic):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250128789841I found an old topic that mentions them:
http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,6771.msg38643.html#msg38643And last, I found a brand new 4 port, but I'm not sure if all 4 ports function as nics or if it just acts like a switch:

Thanks!!

I already looked through the HCL, the model numbers are not listed(there is a de500-ba). I am guessing the Compaq nic will work, but I would really like to know if the HP will work. If I was just buying one I wouldn't mind wasting $10 to try it, but I need 8 of them.

I know the Compaq quad board does work. I have one of them… :) Just be careful - if you are using a low-powered motherboard (such as the Alix board) then you probably will want to use one of the newer version quad boards so you don't exceed the on-board regulator current limits.
I have run the Compaq (DEC) board in an Alix-1 board and the board draws about 15-watts of power - without the quad board installed the Alix-1 draws about 5-watts. That is basically about the upper limit for the power regulators on the Alix board.
It would be "best" to get one and test to be sure it is what you need!

Thanks!!! Looks like I will be going with the Compaq cards then. They will be going in brand new core 2 duo machines, so I shouldn't have any problems…..hopefully.
Thanks again.
