I am planning to deply pfsence as our firewall/router on the network.
We have 3 internet DSL/cable connections and one lan connection. What i Want to know is
-
Is it possible to use multiple out bound connections ? to be exact 3 dsl modem connections
-
Is it possible to do source routing ? ie we want to control the out bound traffic.
say ftp traffic through one outbound interface and all traffic from one lan machine is trough another outbound interface? -
Is it possible to use wireless laptops attached to wireless netgear router inside the lan

Yes, see the the Routing and Dual Wan section of this forum and
http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/MultiWanVersion1.2- Is it possible to do source routing ? ie we want to control the out bound traffic.

Yes. This is policy based routing. Search the forums for this. Basically you just make a firewall rule and specify which gateway the packet should be sent out on.

Just connect the Netgear router to a port on the pfSense machine. You can have the access point in bridge mode or you can have it NAT.
Thanks

Thanks guys.
I figured out the problem. It was a bad qos rule that stops the packets. No problem with the Realtek card. Thanks once more
