My firewall has been having high loads recently.
The average load right now is 6.10 and 100% which is very high.
I don't know how to check and see what's causing it.  When  run top on the console doesn't explain much.
My systems has 1 gig of ram and 2.0 Ghz via chipset.
I'm also running 1.3rc3 full install with no extra packages installed.
      Any help would be great.

      Thanks

From the console you can use commands like systat, vmstat and top

Post the output of 'top' run from a command line.
