i just really want to know if its support with pfsense

if i use live cd and see there are no syntax error, i said its supported, am i correct ?
if so, i will use that for hardware test, its more simple i think -
Yes if you can boot the live cd without problem you should be ok. How much bandwidth are you planning to push? Depending on that you might be better off with an Intel NIC since they usually are the most reliable. Although Broadcom NICs dont seem to have much problems wih FreeBSD either. Did you check the link i provided if this NIC is supported?
