When trying to change the blacklist URL to anything other than the default one I am unable to.  I change it, click Save at the bottom and it goes right back to the default one.  I change it and click "Upload URL" and it just goes right back to the default one.  Any ideas?  Am I doing something wrong?  I'd like to change that URL because frankly it is grossly outdated (the file is from 2002).

        This is normal behavior.
I did not do conservation, as well as downloading black sheet does not believe such a frequent occurrence.
This really need to store URL?

So we are not able to download other lists?  The one you have in there is ancient and not-maintained.  Frankly it is a poor choice for filtering with.

I would have to agree with ciarocci.  That type of list is continuously changing.

ciarocci, where would you be getting an updated list from?

You can do this - this is not problem, if you only replaced default blacklist url to you self.
But you URL not stored in config, as a proxy settings. In next time You will enter yo self URL once more..

I have done that and Squidguard continuously downloads the default one over and over no matter what I put in that field.  Being able to change that field and save it is very important IMHO.

squidguard.org has a bunch of blacklists you can use, but I found the only one that seems to be updated regularly is found at:

                http://www.shallalist.de/

If you have to force one to stay in that field, it should be the one at http://www.shallalist.de/.

                    DVSerg,

I think being able to set this is important.  I do not want to type in a URL every day to update my list.

However, the bigger problem I see here is that no matter what I put in that field currently, it only downloads the list that is there by default.  I can not download the list of my choice.

I'm starting to think HTTPS webGUI isn't worth it.  :-)  Everything I have trouble with is because I'm using HTTPS for my webGUI.

This works as expected.  Thank you.
