Sync SquidGuard Config

I have 2 pfsense boxes up and running. Using CARP for failover, and all is working fine. Now I am looking to see if there is a way to sync the config of SquidGuard on the master server to the backup server. This way if the master goes down, the backup has the same firewall and squidGuard settings, and all content filtering is still in place.
Any ideas??
