Certain forums and sites such as www.evga.com show up as blank in firefox, and IE7 displays "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".  When I disable squid on the interface, they work fine.  I did a bit of research and found this:

Looks like the squid package needs to be updated to allow chunked responses.

I'm all for an update to the squid package.  I'll even put a little bounty behind it if anyone is interested.

My original bounty got moved to the packages forum as nobody had any interest in 'fixing' the package.  Now that more and more people are seeing the slowness and other issues, I think it's time for an update.  I don't think that databeestje is active much on the forums anymore, but he and a couple of others are who first resurrected the squid package.  Dvserg is probably capable too.  Are there any others who could bring squid back to full functionality?  I'm willing to put at least $250 toward the project.  How about you, Heiko?

not all of the folks here have the conviction that the squid package is buggy…
I think you need a new bounty post for this and then we are waiting for the answers.
If i get an invoice from the person who take this bounty i will pay 200$.

              Greetings
              Heiko

Another site that appears not to function properly is auctionsiper.com  When adding an item the site logs the user out.

The new broken site is just one more reason to create a bounty to fix the squid package.  I'll work on the bounty post right now…
