I've tried to install pfsense live cd 1.2 but cannot run in normal mode so I ran it in safe mode (option 3)
it reports many errors in normal mode

      1. what are the limitation in safe mode ?

      2. can i make it default in safe mode in order to make no setting when the pfsense restart ? (i don't want    to reinstall  it)

      3. how many wan and lan can i use maximum ?

      thanx a lot

This is a question I've been wondering myself.  Is there a boot option we can set that will not look for config.xml and instead use the default setup and launch the assign interfaces page?  From my experience safe mode does not behave this way.

when pfSense running, it shows many warnings

          ex:

ad2: WARNING - READ_DMA UDMA ICRC error (retrying request) LBA=xxxxxxxxx

what is wrong with the system ?

it runs automatically on single user mode

if i choose option 3 (safe mode) on welcome screen, it runs normally and shows the pfSense  Console Setup, and setup via web

Try to disable UDMA. See http://devwiki.pfsense.org/BootOptions for how to do that and how to make it default.

thancs tho HOBA, i have tried what you've wrote, and its work

i have new problem now, i cant open the web configurator. I cant ping the lan interface, always show messeges :

              rl0 watchdog  timeout
              rl1 watchdog  timeout
              rl2 watchdog  timeout

all my ehernet interfaces doesnt work. i shows not a normal detection on my ethernet switch. i try to move the ethernet card to other pc, it works ok.

i don't whats the problem. i think my cpu is in trouble.

You may want to check the hardware compatability list to make sure your NICs are there - if not it is hit or miss…

                gm...
