I followed the document for MultiWAN:
      http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/MultiWanVersion1.2

During testing I have an error in the banner that say:

"[filter load]" there were error(s) loading the rules: pfctl:
DIOCSETSTATUSIF the line in question reads [DIOCSTATUSIF]

I also noticed that I can't ping going outside my network using WAN2 (OPT1) interface. But LAN and WAN are both successful during the ping test.

      How can I fix it?

      TIA

You have assigned an interface that is not present on the system.  Double check your interface assignments.

          Hi sullrich,

          Thank you for your reply.

Here's the Status interface of WAN2.

          WAN2 interface (xl1)
          Status up
          MAC address 00:0a:5e:4d:f7:44
          IP address xxx.x12.58.86
          Subnet mask 255.255.255.224
          Gateway xxx.x12.58.85
          Media 100baseTX <full-duplex>In/out packets 352196/129694 (24.78 MB/12.14 MB)
          In/out errors 0/0
          Collisions 0

I can ping the gateway for WAN2 but cannot go out. In the same manner I cannot ping the IP and gateway from outside.
I changed the NIC already but error is still the same.

          How can I fix it?

          TIA</full-duplex>

What scott meant is that you have some interface assigned that's not there anymore. Check interfaces>assign for mismatch.

              Hi hoba,

Thanks for the quick reply. Well, as far as the interfaces are concerned I pretty sure all are assigned properly. I even double checked it to make sure but all seems in good place. There are only 3 interfaces; I even replaced the NIC but problem persists.

The thing is only WAN2 is problematic. I can ping the gateway from a separate network but not the actual ip.

              Any comments?

Try to restart from scratch and test frequently while configuring to see where it breaks.
