Lan ip printer forward to internet
-
i have a carp ip system setup so i have two carp machines that have both public ips then a seperate card for lan ips
the printer is on the lan side (10.x.x.x) and i setup a virtual carp ip (public 128.x.x.x) and set a nat 1:1 for the printer lan ip to the public carp ip
the printer is an hp 4000 series connected via ethernet with a static dhcp ip.
i set up a firewall rule to allow full access from a specific outside internet ip address to the public carp address
when i try to print from the outside computer it fails, but if i print on the lan side it works perfectly…
any extra rules or nat forwarding i need to do for this printer?
thanks!

The rules look good.
Maybe a dumb question, but did you set the gateway on your printserver? (if you are able to set it).
Could it be that you have no option to set a gateway on the printserver? -
heres the screenshot for my print server
