      After installing the new snapshot from CDROM and loading my old config, pfSense could not reinstall all packages. Especially squid is still broken. Seems to be an issue with the right download address.

        As has been pointed out, this is about the base system.  The developers are much less interested in the packages right now.

          Yes, we do not have unlimited resources.  We are not worried about packages right now.
