The vr(4) driver was back ported from FreeBSD RELENG_7, guessing that's related to this. We'll check into it.

Try disabling acpi and report back if it makes any difference.

I do not know if the ALix2c3 has any MSI features in it but if you can check there might be even a msi disabling test that would be interesting.

I'm running the 1.3AA on a 2c3 and it has not rebooted unexpectedly. I have LAN on vr0 and WAN on vr1.
Connected a laptop to LAN and plugged WAN into my network (dhcp) and browsed the Internet, downloaded files through the box. I then switched the LAN to my private network to play with the AD auth in the usermanager leaving it running all day- no stability issues so far.

Disabled ACPI at boot, but no luck, it still reboots. dotdash what kind of CF card are you using?, I will try with different CF card, is pfsense sensitive with different cards? I'm currently using Sandisk extreme II 2Gb card.

Use a debugging enabled kernel and post the output of the "bt" command on the debugger prompt.

                  Hi ermal,

Is there by any chance embeded image with debugging kernel available? I'm not really an expert with this stuff. I found some info here:
                  http://devwiki.pfsense.org/ObtainingPanicInfoForDevelopers

                  tnx for your help.

                  Regards,

Check under /kernels there usually you will find different kernels. Not sure if embedded has those too.

My test box has a 1 GB Kingston. I've got 1.2 production boxes with A-Data, Lexar, Kingston cards. I've never had a problem writing an image to a card.
