Multi-WAN setup question
-
Hi there, I am following the Multi-WAN 1.2 instructions from the wiki. When I try to set up my 3 pools (loadbalance/fail2to1/fail1to2) I am having a problem. The drop down menu that appears for the interface name only contains one entry (WAN2). All 3 interfaces show up under the interfaces menu tab and I have confirmed that all 3 interfaces are pingable. I am using FF3 if that is an issue, but I have the same problem with IE7 so I suspect it isn't a browser-side issue.
Any suggestions?

Did you set a gateway on the OPT's you want to add?

Yes. I've configured all the interfaces and set their gateways as the LAN address on their respecitve routers. My config looks like this:
WAN1: T1 (cisco 1800)
WAN2: DSL (some DSL Router from another ISP)The LAN address is configured as private space (10.0.0.1/24) with pfsense dishing out DHCP for the internal network. In the GUI, all 3 interfaces show up under the interfaces tab. But when I want to create the load balancing pools in the services tab, the drop down menu only shows WAN2 as a valid choice where you choose "interface name" next to the "add to pool" button.
I'm a bit stumped.

Can you show a screenshot of your OPT-setup-page?
What you describe is what happens if you dont set the gateway on this page.
Are your gateways all in the same subnet? -

Are your gateways all in the same subnet?I am not sure why, but I just decided to re-install onto the hard drive and try from scratch. Now things are working as expected. Gremlins? I am testing it now.
