      Hello !

      I'm discovering this excellent distro…

I discover and test each function/package with pleasure  ;D...

Now, i'm testing lightsquid and noticed this :

The number of connections doesn't seem to correspond to number of accesses to the site.

Even staying in the first page of any site, this number of connections is higher.

Does it correspond to all accesses required to load all the page ?

There is anyway to known the number of accesses (the difficulty : how does it behave when surfing on the site ?) ?

Thank you very much for your answers.

(One more question : which unit is used to calculate the time in lightsquid ?)

      Sincerely,

      XZed

each site page contain many objects,
html page, pictures, JS, and etc.
squid write each object in to log
no way to calculate how many pages user give access ….
only relatively, bigger number -> more pages ;)

can you explain what do you mean ?
please point on page (you can use demo site http://lightsquid.sourceforge.net/demo17/)
        if you mean http://lightsquid.sourceforge.net/demo17/user_time.cgi?year=2005&month=04&day=30&user=user100
each cell contain how many bytes user download in corresponding hour …

            OK, so i understood…

We can't have the number of visits (i think it was possible to say : "such user had visited this website 3 times today"... ) per site but instead we have something like all "connections" to the website due to pictures,JS,etc loadings...

Thank you for the time answer !! (I hadn't notice the "Megabytes" unit !).

Thank you for your answers  :)

            Sincerely.
